Michael Role
Michael is a mechanical engineering and manufacturing technical assessor. He offers R&D tax credit claim support and guidance to Amplifi’s engineering and manufacturing clients. A key component of Michael’s role is to interview clients to gather relevant information about their latest innovations, which he later processes to produce insightful R&D technical reports for claims. Additionally, he offers clients assistance during HMRC enquiries.
Before Amplifi
After his BSc (Hons) in Physics and Space Research, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Machining Science, Michael spent over 15 years in numerous R&D and applications roles that included:
- Metal and composite machining for aerospace applications
- Novel composite material development
- Aerospace tooling
- Automotive engineering
