Joshua’s Role

Joshua liaises with clients to collate all relevant R&D financial information, which he then processes and analyses. He supports and guides clients throughout the entire claims process, helping determine their R&D spend for the financial year before submitting the claim to HMRC. He also works closely with our clients’ accountants, who provide key information and support when needed.

Before Amplifi

Joshua has built a strong audit background in Big4 roles. He progressed quickly through financial audit roles, working with complex client portfolios on Private and Public sector engagements. His work focused on analytical reviews, control assessments, and ensuring high quality & compliant reporting. Joshua has developed a strong track record of managing audit portfolios and client relationships. Joshua has also completed the ICAEW CFAB qualification, strengthening his technical expertise, and is working towards the Chartered Accountancy Qualification.

Outside Amplifi

Joshua enjoys watching and getting involved in sports, particularly in playing at a local hockey club and coaching a senior hockey team.  When he’s not coaching or playing, Joshua enjoys keeping active and spending time with family & friends.
