Alan’s Role
Al does business development as a consultant, working with Roger to expand the business in Scotland.
Before Amplifi
He spent 20 years at the wheel with Lloyds TSB, learning many aspects of banking but focussing on commercial banking, where he enjoyed dealing with small business owners. Having taken VR, he then spent a few years as a running coach, doing mainly one-on-one training, but also running a Jog Scotland group, which is still going. Most recently, he was with Angel Capital Scotland, the lead body for business angels in Scotland, where he spent a lot of time speaking to investors & even more speaking to founders about early-stage equity raises.
Outside Amplifi
Al still thinks he can do a triathlon & he also loves running, particularly off-road. He also loves rock music & spends a lot of time at small gigs & festivals
